is a Senior Advocate and one of the founding members of Rwabuhanga Advocates, Mr. Liberatus is a Holder of a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania.
Before becoming an advocate, Mr. Liberatus has been privately advocating for human rights reforms on various platforms. He is a legal practitioner licensed to practice in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar. Among other areas of practice, apparently at Rwabuhanga Advocates, he is mainly involved with Mining law, Criminal litigation, insurance, Corporate, Civil Litigation, investment, property law, intellectual property law, Immigration, Arbitration, and Land law.
Mr. Liberatus is involved in advisory and handling disputes related to corporate, taxation, and employment. Mr. Liberatus is enormously bestowed with outstanding knowledge in Company Law in domains such as the formation of business entities, winding up/liquidation of companies, mergers and acquisitions, recovery of bad debts, receivership, and general compliance.
Mr. Liberatus he is an expert in the field of investment. He is responsible for the application for various investment incentives from the Tanzania Investment Center (TIC) for various reputable business entities and associations in the investment domain. He is also involved in conducting feasibility studies and reviews for various contracts and projects.
